The Green IT extension is a software-only feature that provides real-time insights into electricity consumption, costs, and CO₂ emissions for all your hardware systems—directly within your TrueSight console.

By leveraging the existing metrics collected by Hardware Sentry KM, the Green IT extension delivers real-time energy usage data and calculates associated costs and environmental impact. It also projects monthly and yearly trends based on actual energy consumption and user-defined reference grids. These insights help you anticipate expenses, identify optimization opportunities, and align with future regulations.

All collected and processed data is presented in intuitive table and graph views, which can be saved, printed, or exported in various formats—making it easy to share historical data and projections across your organization.

The Green IT extension requires no additional software or equipment. It comes bundled with Hardware Sentry KM and can be installed in just a few clicks.

To enable the Green IT extension, you need to install the TSPS Component.
